In May 2021 Poarch had over 66,000,000 users on TikTok making her the third most followed person on the site, following Charli Damelio. Poarch was raised within the Philippines. In an interview for the H3 Podcast, she told the interviewers that her maternal grandmother had took care of her in the slums up until age 3. Her adoption was by Kenneth Taylor an American expat and their wife Eden. Poarch claimed that she was employed on her family's farm for ten years as well as doing chores. Bryner and her younger brother Bryner as well as two of her older siblings are also adopted. The Poarch family moved from the Philippines to Texas out of the Phillipines when she reached the age of 13. Her older sisters remained at home.
